Arundall Lady Belludona for Crakebrie

Pet name 'Madison'.

Madison is no longer with us, she sadly died suddenly in July 2010. This is her story:

The Lady of our Manor: Madison was a Black Briard. Bitch, born October 2004. She was a small, feminine, pretty bitch with the most amazing temperament. She was shown as a puppy and junior and qualified for Crufts 2006 and 2007. She was not shown much after that, due to being trimmed off, when nursing her puppies. Eyes Clear: Hips 7/3

Madison had three litters,Ruby from Litter One and Fleur from Litter Three have stayed with us here at Yardbury. Madison was a natural mum and had a strong bond with Ruby and Fleur, she allowed anyone to cuddle and handle her puppies when they were being nursed,Madison truely was... one in a million. She is missed by me everyday... I was lucky to share almost 6 years with her. RIP lovely lady and thankyou for everything, my friend. xx

Madison was the foundation stone of Crakebrie

Arundall HRH Mr Tumnus for Crakebrie

Pet name 'Archie'.

Archie is a Fawn Briard. Male, born December 2005. Madison's full younger brother. He is a stunning looking dog with an outstanding love of life, having a very playful attitude toward dogs and children alike. He was very successful as a puppy and junior in the show ring, qualifying for Crufts at every Championship Show he was shown at in 2006 and 2007.

Archie has doing agility and is loving that too, he also takes his job as farm dog very seriously indeed. Archie has been retired from the show ring as he is now trimmed off, he lives with Crakebrie Dancing Daisy closeby in Musbury with my friend Louise White. Archie can usually be found up to his elbows in mud or running with the horses in the fields. He is also a fantastic guard dog.

Crakebrie Country Rebel

Pet name 'Ruby'

Born June 16th 2007,

(from Litter One)

Eyes TBC : Hips 2/2

Ruby was bred here at Yardbury and she is such a delight to live with, she oooozzes character and has typical briard traits. She qualified for Crufts 2009 at her first outing at WELKS under Kathy Green. Before that she won Best Puppy in Show at the British Briard Show at 6 months old under Barry Croft. (In his critique Barry said Ruby was the one dog at the show he wanted to take home, 'no way Barry')

Ruby has a wonderful, cheeky character living up to the 'gay and lively' breed standard. She is not a great lover of dog shows, so we are not showing her much at the moment. We are expecting to breed from Ruby in 2011 with Ikkon, which will combine her wonderful temperment with Ikkon's fantastic colour.

Aslan, Pagan and Tia relaxing on Seaton Beach.

They are owned and loved by my close friend Shani Lunnon and live closeby in Chard, Somerset. Both Aslan and Tia have qualified for Crufts numerous times. Tia and Aslan often stay with us here at Yardbury.

Puppies were born May 2009 from Aslan and Tia. Beau is staying with Shani at Luellsha. Aslan is also dad to Madison's third litter. He is Fleur's dad. Puppies due from Aslan and Tia in February 2011

Crakebrie Cotswold Boy Blue

(from Litter One)

Blue has only been shown once, at WELKS Championship Show and qualified for Crufts 2009 under Breed Specialist Kathy Green in a large class of puppies.

Blue lives in Gloucestershire, close to my parents with Jo Brown, he is a wonderful pet with an amazing temperment with both humans and animals, it is a pleasure to have bred this wonderful boy, Blue is not shown anymore but he will be attending the briard-a-thons local to his home. Check out this lovely lad.

Crakebrie Dancing Daisy

(from Litter One) wins:

Best Puppy in Breed and Puppy Group 4 at Exeter & County Canine Society Open Show under Chris Bithell and bred specialist Maggie Foreman on 14th June 2008. Maggie liked her so much she has added her younger brother Acer (Litter Two) to her home and is actively showing him around the country.

Daisy qualified for Crufts 2009 at Bath Championship Show under Breed Specialist Yvonne Briscoe. Daisy and Archie are play pals and can be found romping around the land most days, getting up to as much mischief as possible. She has a wonderful temperment and is definitely one to be watched in the showring. Eyes Clear : Hips 9
